Joy RH Persinger, Owner & Lead Coordinator
Coordinating and planning have been a passion and joy of mine for many years. I began helping my Mom coordinate weddings at the church I grew up in. (I am a born and raised Lancater County girl) I loved helping her set things up, getting everyone in place for the ceremony, and managing the timeline. From there, I began coordinating weddings and events for friends and acquaintances. After spending two seasons coordinating at a local venue, I knew it was something I wanted to do more of which lead me to start my own company. Fancy Peacock Events was born in 2013, and is my full time job as of February 2019. Though, I still dabble in my first career a few shifts a month as a veterinary technician, because DOGS. I also love Starbucks, Australia (I studied abroad there) and crime shows (my first favorite was Murder, She Wrote) Thanks to the support of my husband and daughter, I am able to do what I love. Helping you, enjoy your big day by being present in all the special moments!
Sarah Nyguist, Associate Coordinator
Sarah Nyguist joined the FPE team in 2019. Her first exposure to working with weddings was as a live musician, where she quickly became familiar with the ins and outs of wedding ceremonies. After Sarah and her sister got married three weeks apart, she realized just how much she loved all the details and organization that goes into making weddings come to life, but also how hard it can be. She wanted to use her experience and natural love for organization to create stress free, enjoyable weddings for other brides. Sarah started volunteering to coordinate friends weddings and loved every minute of it, so she was thrilled to join the Fancy Peacock team.
Julie Hoffer, Assistant
Julie enjoys the detail-oriented nature of set-up and assisting with Fancy Peacock events. Her end goal is making sure that the day goes as smoothly as possible for the bride and groom and ensuring that the event space looks picture perfect. She started out in the events industry helping a floral designer and still takes every chance she can get to work with flowers. She works full time as a data analst at a community health center and enjoys spending her off hours traveling with her husband, spending time with her nephews, growing flowers, and baking.
