Wedding & Event Gallery
For this event, I was responsible for day-of-coordinating. I was also there for rehearsal the night before and then helped with set-up and clean-up on the day of the wedding. The bride's family and bridal party helped to set up the reception area, but I helped set up final details like the lawn games and ceremony decor. Emma also took advantage of some of my rental items: chalkboard, suitcases, and cylinder vases.

I planned and executed a baby shower for my good friend Christina. It included an "Aesop's Fables" theme with an italian soda bar and chalkboard favors, all nods to certain aspects of the mother-to-be. We had soup, salad, and bread with delicious cake compliments of the Country Table Bakery. After a blessing from Christina's mom, guests introduced themselves and enjoyed the light menu. During gift opening, guests were invited to embroider woodland creatures that the grandmothers would later turn into a felt book for the expected baby. I was responsible for invites, decor.
I hosted a small baby shower for my best friend. The guest list included just our college friends, and it was a very intimate affair. I was responsible for the entire event from start to finish.
Green Meadow Farm is a local ministry that my husband and I support. Every year, they have a fundraiser and lawn party so people can see what is new at the farm and get involved in different ways. I helped with decor for the horse sponsorship table, where people could get information about being a sponsor, and the welcome table, where guests checked in for the event. This past year, I served as coordinator so that the operators of the farm could mingle with crowds visiting that day.
Randy and Lisa planned an intimate wedding with family and close friends. She asked me for help with a simple bouquet and boutonniere for them and some simple decor for their house, as the reception was held at their residence. I chose winter whites with some rustic elements as the wedding was in January.

Sarah is a college friend, and when she was getting married, she asked me to help her with some planning and day-of-coordinating. I assisted with dress shopping, floral recommendations, reception decor, set-up, favor ideas, name card ideas, and executing the vision on the wedding day.

My husband Brandon and I got married on August 22nd, 2009. We had an outdoor ceremony and reception at the Cornwall Inn. Despite a hurricane earlier in the week, the weather cooperated enough that the ceremony and photos were accomplished sans rain. I began my love affair with all things peacock during my wedding, and based my color scheme and atmosphere of the day around the incredible birds. I love all things detailed, simple, and elegant. I accomplished this with classic elements like my simple 1930's style dress paired with my coordinating bridesmaid dresses.
